Tuesday Tip #21

I know that I've mentioned this tip in a couple different posts and I've been meaning to really introduce it into the Tuesday Tip Series but I keep forgetting. So now that I've finally remembered, here is a tip on how to cook chicken in the microwave...

Chicken Tenders
Place chicken tenders on microwave safe plate when frozen and place in microwave.
Microwave tenders at 2 minute intervals until cooked.
Watch and check on them each time because depending on how thick they are you may have to remove a few before all are done so they don't over cook.

Chicken Breasts
Place chicken breast on microwave safe plate when frozen and place in microwave.
Microwave breasts at 4 minute intervals until cooked.
Watch and check on them each time because depending on how thick they are you may have to remove a few before all are done so they don't over cook
The other thing for breasts is that you could halve them length wise so their not as thick.

How do you defrost and cook your chicken when you're in a hurry?
